Think first. Build second.
Management consulting including project and construction management for infrastructure and energy projects — built on 25 years of leadership and project responsibility in the construction and energy sector.
Civil engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) with more than two decades of experience leading complex construction and infrastructure projects — from the site as a working student to division management within an international energy group.
After studying civil engineering at TU Braunschweig, I began my career on major international projects — from geotechnical investigations at the Elbe Tunnel and road construction in Nigeria to high-voltage overhead lines and substations in Thailand, Southern and Eastern Africa. At the Fichtner Group I was responsible for power plant and infrastructure projects as project manager, including the construction of an 800 MW power plant in Wilhelmshaven.
Most recently, as Division Manager at OMEXOM Hochspannung GmbH (Vinci Energies), I led the Overhead Line Construction North/East division with an annual turnover of around €80 million and personnel responsibility for approximately 150 employees — including full technical and commercial accountability, sales management and strategic direction.
Today I bring this experience in project control, construction management, sales and leadership to your projects and your company as an independent consultant — pragmatic, delivery-focused and with a clear eye on cost, schedule and quality.
International projects have shaped my career from the very start: high-voltage overhead lines and substations across South-East Asia as well as Southern and Eastern Africa, power plant construction in Wilhelmshaven and Rotterdam, road construction in Nigeria. I am therefore just as available for mandates outside Germany as for domestic projects — bringing business-fluent English and the experience of delivering within unfamiliar legal and cultural environments.
End-to-end consulting across the entire project life cycle — from management consulting through to hands-on project control on site. Assignments are undertaken throughout Germany and internationally: business-fluent English and project experience across Asia, Africa and Europe make cross-border undertakings familiar ground.
Strategy, organisational and leadership consulting for construction firms and clients — from division level up to executive management.
Taking on project or executive management on a temporary basis — during bottlenecks, transition phases or critical project situations.
Development of sales structures and long-term framework agreement strategies for construction and energy companies.
Technical owner's representation and advisory during planning and execution — safeguarding your interests vis-à-vis designers and contractors.
Monitoring and reviewing project teams' cost and schedule plans, ongoing controlling, and identification, assessment and management of project risks throughout the project — with early intervention when deviations arise.
Control of overhead line, cable and substation projects in the 110–380 kV range across all project phases.
Coordination, monitoring and quality assurance of subcontractor works on site.
Tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation and award of construction and design services — from the bidder round through to the signed contract.
From the construction site through international power plant projects to division management — the key milestones at a glance.
